Nurturing hearts & minds in honor of parents who were not given enough time.
Community
Our mission
Our mission is to provide healing & equal opportunity as a form of justice by serving underrepresented teenagers between the ages of 12-19yrs old; who were impacted by the loss of a parent(s) to gun violence. We are dedicated to prioritizing their mental, emotional, and social well-being. Our program provides a safe space for them to process their feelings, while learning healthy & positive coping mechanisms.
Recovering from a traumatic event may seem like an impossible task. Trust in your ability and our support to get you through it.
Impact
It takes a village for our youth to achieve wholeness!
Make Justice Healing has become a voice & advocate for a group of children who are often overlooked within their communities, especially underserviced ones. Many families are struggling in silence & alone trying to raise them after the traumatic loss of their loved one.
Our community will stand in the gap to be their village. We are so grateful for our staff, volunteers, & donors who have made our impact their passion!
Our core values ensure the youth we service have a foundation that is built on love, compassion, and support to face the world confidently.
Services we offer:
Love
1 Corinthians 16:14 Let all that you do be done in love. Self love and love for others is essential to being the change we want to see. We believe that a thriving life of love is centered around prayer and positive actions!
Compassion
We listen without judgement, and we show up for our community! If our fellow brother or sister is weak or hurt, we step up to be strong. Greatness of a community is measured by its compassion.
Support
We are here to serve you and help each other in a positive way! Support is an action word so we always do what we say we will do. You need us and we need you!
